Why is my hair breaking off???

Hair breakage can be a serious problem whether or not you're trying to attain length. It may seem like your hair isn't growing at all if it breaks off faster than it's growing. The trick is to figure out where the breakage is occurring... at the ends of your hair or the crown of your head. Then you can figure out what the reason is for the breakage.

Dry ends: If your hair is breaking at the end, it might be super dry due to heat styling with flat irons and hot curlers. Using a wide-spaced comb might help you. You can also try deep conditioning, or daily conditioning with moisturizing products. Also try to heat style less.

Breakage at the crown of your head: Overlapping the relaxer onto previously relaxed hair can cause it to break, so be careful when making touch-ups.
